Viola Davis has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award for the fifth time in a row. She is once again being considered for "Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series." She took the award home in 2015 for her work on the show's rookie season.
The fifth season of the show has additionally made a comeback in the category "Outstanding Drama Series." The show won the award during its first season and received another nomination for its sophomore season.
